Psalm
9:2 “I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.”
Whether they are amateur or experienced vocalists
and instrumentalists, Casa View members volunteer
their time glorifying God by joining their voices
in singing and sharing their instrumental talents.
Adult Choir consists of varying
ages and musical backgrounds. This choir leads
in worship on Sunday morning through music drawn
from a wide range of styles and musical tastes..
Throughout the year, choir members prepare seasonal
musicals and concerts to impact listeners with
God’s message.
Gloryland Singers is an inspiring
group of senior adults who have a great time
preparing and presenting good ole gospel songs
and hymns. This group enjoys great fellowship
as they travel to share the good news at retirement
homes, nursing homes and other churches.
Youth Choir is open to all
youth grades 7th through 12th regardless of
musical training or experience. The youth choir
prepares contemporary Christian music to occasionally
lead the Sunday evening service. In addition
to leading in worship, the choir members experience
God through mission trips and Choir tours as
far away as Atlanta, Georgia, and New Orleans,
Louisiana, or as close as sites around Texas
where they have conducted backyard Bible Clubs
and sang at children’s homes and youth
prisons.
Children’s Choir for
ages 3 through 6th grade teaches children how
to praise and love the Lord through singing,
playing instruments and learning God’s
Word. They have fun making new friends and enjoy
learning the music. During the year, children
have an opportunity to participate in worship
services, present a spring musical and lead
the special Christmas "Hanging of the Green"
Service.
The Casa View Orchestra is
comprised of various ages from 9th graders through
adult blending rich talents to praise God instrumentally.
These volunteers accompany the Adult Choir in
Sunday morning worship and different musicals
throughout the year.
Various ensembles, quartets and the
handbell choirs meet and present music throughout
the year.
