Mission

Love God

Jesus was once asked what single command in the scriptures was the most important. What a question! The law had 613 commands. But his answer left no doubt. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. (Matthew 22:37) Jesus’ answer is at the heart of the Christian faith, and drives the mission of who we are as a church. God loved us while we were still sinners by sending Christ to die in our place (Romans 5:8, John 3:16). How else can we respond but to love Him wholeheartedly and give our lives to Him completely? So we worship Him passionately. We build our lives upon His word. We express His love to the world around us. We want to be a church that is known for having a deep and responsive love for God.

Build Relationships

Somebody once said that “relationships are not the most important thing in life, they are the only thing.” We are a church that places a tremendous emphasis on Biblical community. God’s plan for us is to travel this road of faith together. To this end, we constantly push the people of Casa View to deepen their relationships with other believers. To commit to a home group. To join a campus Bible study. To attend church fellowships and events. As we grow together in unity, we become what we never could on our own.

Change The World

Jesus chose twelve men and changed the world. Those fishermen and tax collectors answered the call to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Two thousand years later we celebrate their legacy: God can do incredible things through one person who is totally committed to Him. Here at Casa View we believe the church is not a building, but instead a body. A unified people who are on mission to make God's glory known on the campus, in the workplace, throughout the community and beyond. Through random acts of kindness or overseas mission trips, we are committed to changing the world through the "Good News" of Jesus Christ.
